Coach Bri Calby

Coach Bri Calby is a graduate of Walt Whitman High School where she was a 4-year Varsity starter as a catcher, center-fielder and shortstop for the Wildcats. Calby was awarded Most Improved her freshman year on Varsity and All League her senior year where she also served as captain. Bri was also a member of our very own, L.I. Bandits where she played for 4 years.

Calby continued her softball career playing Division III softball at SUNY Oneonta as a catcher and outfielder. While at Oneonta State, she and her team won the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship in 2014. Bri is a recent 2016 graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in Science. She plans to further her education with a Master’s degree in Special Education.

Calby is eager to continue her softball career, now on the sidelines, giving back to the L.I. Bandits Organization. She welcomes the opportunity to take young softball players to the next level by teaching the girls new drills, workouts and techniques while still keeping the fun and love for the game. Her youth, passion and experience is a great addition to the Long Island Bandits coaching staff!

Coach Calby is assisted by Geena Fazio, another former Long Island Bandit, as well as, Alfonso Guerrero, Felix Delgado & Edgar Gonzales.
